The official ABOG Bulletins, which specify requirements and processes for certification, maintenance of certification and other functions of the Board, are available for download.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITY

It is the responsibility of the candidate to seek information concerning the current requirements for certification as an obstetrician and gynecologist.

The Board does not assume responsibility for notifying a candidate of changing requirements for admissibility to any examination or impending loss of admissibility to any examination.

Moreover, the candidate must meet the eligibility requirements published in the Bulletin dated for the year in which they are to take the examination.

It is the candidate's responsibility to read the applicable Bulletin, to follow the published requirements and to meet the published deadlines.


A WORD OF CAUTION

All correspondence should be sent by a service that has tracking capability (e.g. FedEx, UPS). This will allow you to verify receipt of correspondence, applications and fees sent to ABOG.

Deadlines set by the ABOG are based upon RECEIPT of the information in the Board office, not date of shipping.
