CERTIFICATION OF SUBSPECIALISTS
The ABOG Subspecialty Divisions of Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility have been authorized to qualify and examine candidates for subspecialty certification in a designated area of specialization within obstetrics and gynecology. The subspecialty section of the ABOG Web site provides information on subspecialty certification, including:

MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION
The Board also examines obstetricians and gynecologists for the purpose of maintenance of certification.

The information on certification in this section of the ABOG Web site is taken from the BULLETIN FOR 2007, which was issued in September 2006. The Bulletin is the official statement of the requirements in effect for the 2007 certification examinations.
