4-Year Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Programs FAQs

In 2020, ABOG announced there are no different standards for 3-year and 4-year fellowship graduates. Currently, all fellows applying for the GO CE will be required to have completed at least 36 months of training in an accredited fellowship program. Those 36 months must meet the ACGME Program Requirements and the ABOG eligibility requirements. In some cases, fellows will meet these requirements during or at the end of the last year of fellowship training in a 4-year program.
