Volunteer Positions

The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) values the vital impact of dedicated volunteers who serve in key roles across the organization. These voluntary positions are not only an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the profession but also carry an implicit trust and responsibility. Appointees are entrusted with the timely completion of assignments and must demonstrate full compliance with all ABOG policies, rules, and regulations.

As ambassadors of the Board, volunteers are held to a standard of professionalism that not only meets but exceeds the expectations outlined in the ABOG Professionalism Policy. This elevated standard reflects the importance of the work and the public trust placed in ABOG, as well as the commitment to lead by example in every aspect of board service. We want to let you know as a courtesy that our staff monitors social media, similar to other organizations who do so as a way to protect and preserve brand reputation.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Our current nomination cycle is closed, but we encourage you to check back soon for future openings. If you have any questions, please contact us. We’re grateful for your enthusiasm and commitment to our mission.
