Specialty Qualifying Exam

| February 15, 2025 to February 28, 2025 | $1700 + $400 late fee = $2100 |
The Qualifying Exam fee consists of:
- cost of the application process ($850)
- fee to cover the exam cost ($750)
The portion of the fee that covers the cost of the application process will not be refunded. If the candidate is denied entrance to the examination based on the information supplied with the application, the portion of the fee that covers the cost of the examination will be refunded.
After approval, if you experience an event that prevents you from sitting for the Qualifying Exam, notify ABOG immediately (email exams@abog.org or call 214.871.1619 and request to be connected with the Exams Department).
If a candidate experiences an event that prevents sitting for the examination, please email exams@abog.org immediately. The ABOG review committee will determine if the request is due to circumstances beyond the control of the candidate. If the committee agrees that the circumstances warrant, the fee may be refunded minus a $450 processing fee. Alternatively, the full amount can be credited towards the following year’s examination. The review committee will not consider any request that is based primarily on non-emergency matters.

| April 25, 2025 | Last day to reserve a seat at Pearson VUE before ABOG's seat reservation lifts. Available spots will be open to all other test-takers after this date. Please reserve your seat as soon as possible. |
